Anyways, here is the basics of how Bill and Wendy came about with the items they have for sale. Bert Grimm was one of the most famous tattoo artists in the world. He owned his shop in downtown Saint Louis MO until he sold it to Tattoo Faye in 1956, well Bill Moore ( Bondage Bill) worked for her for about 3 or 4 years towards the end of her life, in Waynesville, MO. She had actually had several shops in the Saint Louis, MO area for a number of years, including the one which she purchased from Bert Grimm. She had apprenticed under EDH ( Ed Horton), who in turn learned from Bert. As Wendy have stated in many of the postings on the sales, there is soot and residue on the acetates, flash pieces, among other things because of the shop in downtown Saint Louis burning down ( the one she purchased from Bert.) But to alot of people Wendy have spoke with, they love that in the pieces because of the history, it dates the pieces, adds character to them.
So while he was working for Fay he would buy pieces of flash or other items from her, or one way or another has inherited the items over the years.
